Three steps, no spreadsheet

    Open the pot

    Pick the cat, write who it's for and put in the first share. Your pot link is ready straight away.

    Share the link

    Send it by WhatsApp, email or Slack. Everyone chooses an amount, pays online and can leave a few words.

    Order the cat

    Every share lands on one gift card, emailed to the organiser. Use it at checkout and top up the rest if needed.

Timing

Start 6 to 8 weeks before the big day

Each cat is painted to order once the organiser checks out. For a leaving date or a birthday you can't move, start early, or send an e-gift card today and let them choose their cat.

What if we don't reach the goal?

The organiser uses the pot gift card at checkout and pays the difference, or picks another finish. Nothing is lost: whatever is on the gift card stays valid for 2 years on the whole shop.

And if we collect more than the price?

The extra stays on the gift card. Use it for a personalisation, or keep it for another gift later.

Who receives the money?

Every share tops up one AlwaysCat gift card. We email its code to the organiser when the pot opens; its balance grows with each share. It can't be paid out in cash.

Who can see what I gave?

Nobody on the pot page: it shows the total, the number of shares and the messages. Your name appears with your message so the lucky one knows who chipped in.

Can the cat be delivered straight to them?

Yes. When the organiser checks out, they simply enter the recipient's address for delivery. We ship worldwide from Switzerland.

I paid a share by mistake.

Contact us within 14 days and we'll refund it, as long as the pot gift card hasn't been used yet.
